I just finished a very nice stay at this hotel. I usually stay at this property 2 or 3 times per year and usually am upgraded to a standard Regency Club Floor room. This trip, I received an upgrade to the Aventine Suite on the 16th floor. The suite described several posts previous sounds like the same room.
The evening Club offering was the usual cracker and cheese assortment with a hummus/vegetable spread. There were warm eggrolls also available. The morning spread included the usual cereal, pastry and bread offerings as well as a warm scrambled egg dish with cheese, tomato and spinach.
I must say that the Diamond recognition was much better than I had experienced here during previous stays, and my overall impression of the hotel was significantly better than it has been over the past 3 or 4 years.
