Not the same exact issue, but potentially related: I booked a one-way J ticket HKG-SFO-ORD on CX using AA miles on Saturday. It's now Tuesday and it still hasn't ticketed, I still see "On request," although I do have an AA record locator. AA claims they're just waiting for CX to approve the request before they can ticket it. Is this normal? How long does it typically take, or should I suspect an issue?
