What's never been clear to me is how you get out in the first place from the lounge. Having grown up in the US you can always just "walk out" and then walk back later if you wanted to as there isn't much to the airports but t5 is a different animal. I had always assumed there was a sequence of events involving the walking tunnels that could get you out?
