I had multiple mx and weather issues, which had me in a position where I had to do SFO-PHL-ABE-PHL-IND ... the problem is if I did the round-trip on PHL-ABE and ABE-PHL I would have to wait for the later "flight bands" to go home to IND .... I asked in the nicest way if I could jettison the the ABE in the middle and just get home and they stated no luck .... I was on a first class ticket and am EXP ... and had a real reason (e.g. I wasn't supposed to do the red-eye from SFO-PHL, and was supposed to have been in MIA in a bed there) ... the answer ... you don't fly the 55 mile segments on a dash-8 .... you don't go home .... so if you were in PHL on Sunday Morning in the US Air club in the morning and heard a guy snoring .... that was me ...
