Seriously though, I am also interested in where this leads. 21 characters including a hyphen. Until recently only 20 characters would fit in, so I just used the first part of the last name. In the "post-9/11" world some airlines started making me use both parts, usually by skipping the hyphen and entering all 20 alpha characters as one string. Lovely, just lovely... More recently I noticed that if I enter all 21 characters, airline (or GDS) systems strip out the hyphen and still put in the one string of 20 alpha chars. Never one to shy away from the challenge I started putting in all 21 characters,
but replacing the hyphen with a space. The space does not get cut out. Does that make me a tewwowist?
