Is anyone aware of this change in law? Was this the agent being over-sensitive, or has something actually changed in the last months?
Change in AC's systems flagging an issue perhaps but no change in the law or regulations within the "last <few> months".
In any case, if names get truncated or mashed together due to AC's IT problems that IS AC's problem not the passengers.
