Right, but the average non-FTer is going to see these options presented as different airlines, since Skyscanner only cares about the marketing carrier. Book a BA flight, get a BA-operated flight would be most people's assumption.
If you book this route/flight at BA.com it presents the VY operated flight with a different logo, and if you dig hard enough you can find a (very small) warning saying "Charges may apply for food and drink. Please check operating carrier website for details"
Of course immediately after that step you get this huge splash screen...
