Maybe a Star Alliance MR to get the *G status renewed with A3?

I think Gold at Aegean is either flying 2 legs or 3,000 miles every other year (something like that). YMMV.
Yeah. Sorta. I could either take the overnight Aegean from LHR and wait around for 12hrs in the rain in Athens for a ferry connection and get 1200 points or go via ARN, sleep somewhere warm, wait only 2hrs in Athens and get 4800 points (SASPlus).

Then again, it could be just because I LOVE SAS's high level of service compared to Aegean. Not. Hehe - the qualification on A3 isn't THAT easy! And at least I'm one of those who fly them regularly as opposed to living on the other side of the world and not even knowing where Greece is! For info Gold on A3 (from zero staus) now requires a "whopping" 36,000 miles and six actual A3 segments or 72,000 miles without any A3 flights. Still not bad I suppose.
