Oh if you want to visit the Faroe's then the Eco movement Sea Shephed usually want volunteers to monitor the marine mammals and minimise the numbers run ashore in the grind.
I can recommend the ship from Hirtshals (Denmark) to the Faroe's (and onwards to Iceland) - if not, there is a flight from the UK. It rains a lot!
