First can be and often is better than that...but the OP's experience is by no means unusual either. I enjoy the extra space and peace, the flexibility arojnd what to eat and when and booze of the quality I would drink at home. It's certainly not world class and despite similar cost challenges both NH and JL deliver a far superior product. Arguably neither CX or SQ have much of a cost advantage either, yet again...
