Hello everyone.
I am planning on going to Paraguay in a few months and will not be arriving via ASU so a visa on arrival is not possible so I will need one beforehand. Does anyone know if either option below is a possibility:
1. I'm driving down to LAX tomorrow to go to Europe. There's a Paraguayan consulate very near LAX. Can they process visas in less than 2 hours?
2. As far as I can tell, there is a consulate in Athens. As I am not a Greek citizen, can I apply for my visa there? Also, if I can would the visa be written in Greek by any chance? A Paraguayan visa in an American passport written in Greek would be kind of interesting.

Consulates are there to provide services to anyone who walks in. I accompanied ex-pat American friends to the Vietnamese consulate in Tokyo where they were applying for visas. Nobody was the least bit surprised.
