You would be much more prone to getting an amoeba from going out to drink and eat off property. Ice is made from purified water unless you are in a real hole in the wall...which with your concerns...you shouldn't be.

Believe me, a resort such as this wouldn't survive if there were suspicions that its guests were getting sick drinking their water.
