Wow, that does look like a nice spot. And not too far away, really. I was surprised to find that even the last bit of bangtao drops off considerably in terms of development and popularity. I walked the length of it one day and had about the last mile more or less to myself.

According to a couple sites, the beach you are referring to goes by Hat Hin Kluay.
