I have a back-up booking in the HIX Av. Liberdade, which is only 5 Euro cheaper per night.
I will most likely decide last minute. The type of upgrade that I will get as an ambassador will likely play a role. I hope to be able to see that in my booking before we leave.
Just send them an e-mail that you are worried about your stay. My family is currently staying there and they received a double upgrade (no status). Minor issues like toilet not working, lukewarm water were taken care of almost instantly.
