It is a little misleading though as the BA Fast Track signage next to the gate does clearly have all three coloured ovals displayed on it (Green, Blue and Red) and doesn't specify that this is for BA only, so if I was a CX Ruby I would assume it included me...

Re: the race issue, I really don't think it's that, but to those of you above who are so certain it wasn't, remember individual gate staff can have all sorts of prejudices, even if the company doesn't. I regularly turn up for CE flights looking like a homeless man (Friday is dress down day where I work, and I only shave on Sunday's) and you should see some of the looks I get!
