Perhaps you should ask lucky, garyleff, etc. who keep writing about how to book CA/CZ award seats on View from the Wing etc? Of course, CX is first choice. But if (as is commonly the case) they don't have any award seats available for redemption in business/first then its worth knowing if there are any alternatives that work.
