You don't really need a map. If you live near SFO or LAX, you fly directly from SFO or LAX to wherever you want to go. If you live somewhere else, you fly source -> SFO -> dest or source -> LAX -> dest.

Not quite, since there are a couple of other permanent routes, and a few more seasonal ones, but it's a good estimate.
