Overall DUB-LHR-LAS on BA is a much better choice, as you get 10h+ in lie flat. With the current ex-DUB sale you should get the BA routing for the same price?
The only thing I can think of going for US is you are CP and can apply the upgrade certs to the DUB-PHL-LAS route.
The 752 is definitely an old, tired product. But how can you call the business class cabin on the 332 primitive? Its makes for a very comfortable trip and beats out the business class cabins on many airlines including UA.
Plus, how is domestic F painful? Last I checked from a comfort perspective it beats out the intra-europe business class products on most of the major european carriers. At least you get a larger seat with more leg room instead of a standard economy seat with just a middle seat blocked.
And with the CP upgrade certs, it will only upgrade the overwater flights. The domestic flights will upgrade during the normal upgrade processing.
