I've never been to Paris, so may well be showing my gross ignorance of the geography if there's no hope of seeing anything!! Equally appreciate it's likely a 50:50 but I've previously had some good advice for having a better chance of seeing landmarks from a particular side of the aircraft

Flying from London, I can't say I've ever seen anything noteworthy out of the windows on either side.
