The one advantage of US is they have a business class fare (ILWEI4WA) that allows a free stopover in PHL/CLT. Must depart DUB from 11/22/15-11/30/15, and the transatlantic flights must be on US. If you don't need/want a stopover, then I'd fly via LHR to get a better plane. Here are the stop over rules:
