Yeah, but when CO and US had their incidents, the incidents were put front and center on their main website, with large banners saying something like "CO Flight #: Update" and "US Flight #: Latest News." Not hidden in some obscure or less-known area of their websites. People are naturally curious, and it's good PR to communicate upfront with your customers what's happening, especially if you're making national headlines!
