I'm staying at Cosmo Mar 25 - 30 and had the same issue when trying to book a single night for a friend on Wed, Mar 25. City room was $750. Smh.

I do have a separate question.

I set up a group rate for some friends coming for our stay that was significantly cheaper than published rates or booking conversions using Marriott pts.

I am Identity Gold with Cosmo and Platinum with Marriott.

Can I still pay for my stay in Marriott GCs and if so, are there other benefits I can take advantage of being Marriott Platinum even though I booked directly through Cosmo?

I tried wading through some of the thread so forgive me if some of my question is a repeat. Had trouble finding a clear answer to this scenario.
