You can wait for it, but if you are an existing CCB (eye/Plat Visa/Plat MC etc.) cardholder and not eligible for the welcome offer anyway you can apply for the Pui Ching card:

BEA if from a AM point of view. Prestige has other programs e.g. KF, Avios, SPG, HHonors etc. - depends on how you value their points.
