Having now done quite a few sectors in the new cabins on both the 319 and 320, I'm even more of the opinion that CE has been hollowed out beyond reason.

I'm short at 5"7 but the leg room in CE other than in row 1 is shocking for a business product. I used to prefer 2F or 3F, but almost all of my recent flights have been in 1F.

Even in 1F there is however an issue that I didn't have before: I keep being kneed in the back by the passenger in row 2.

SH was already devoid of most pleasure, this latest move has done nothing but erode further the argument for flying BA.

I'll accidentally hit gold this year as I've been doing just a little bit more travel than usual. Since I'm fine with Silver, I'll have less need for the CE TPs in the year ahead and will book ET in exit rows instead. Happy to fall back to Silver the year after and little point left in taking CE now.

In related news, I too have been seeing exacerbate cabin baggage shenanigans. Full marks to the CC member on a recent flight who was making people take their luggage back out from the front lockers while walking to the rear of the plane and leaving no overhead space for the hapless occupant of the seats underneath. ^

They were doing this on a recent flight to DUB as well. However, instead of getting people to go back to the seats at the gate after having relieved them off their bags for transfer to the hold, they made all of them wait in the area behind the scanners at the top of the stairs, thus making a mockery of the priority boarding process when boarding commenced.
