Been on hold for an hour after getting a call back and them transferring me elsewhere.

For all of the knowledgeable people on here:

Cancelled an award flight a week or so again, I got the taxes refunded to my credit card, but I asked to get the points reinstated for the $150 + $25 fees for two tickets. I never saw the $175 charged and also haven't seen the mileage back.

Is there any way to do this other than waiting on hold?

Should I just wait until the crazy weather blows over? I was just concerned my flight was supposed to happen this Thursday so wanted to make sure it was indeed cancelled and to get my miles refunded.

And edit: After 2 1/2 hours got on the phone, manual over ride to add my miles back in and no cancellation charge, win win
