One difference only for long-haul: Lounge access for HON/SEN only when travelling on the SMART fare (not the basic fare as in Europe).
Also, the BKK flight is the old airport (Don Mueang).
The prices including a connection (I looked from LHR) are also very attractive, though they have stated these are only introductory offers and the price will rise. I wish them luck!
