This is a first one for me, don't know if it happened to anybody else on here?
My SO recently created a KF account after having been banking with UA MP for a long time. She flew China-US-China not long ago on UA and asked for the miles to be credited to her KF account, which happened correctly (although in the online view both flights refer to the same date). ^
Now for the weird part:
On the same date, two more flights show up having credited to her account, also on UA, but to two completely unrelated airports. She actually never took these flights, so clearly these miles should not have been credited to her...
Is it that someone else accidentally put in her KF number when checking-in for their flights and this caused the mis-credit? I always though that the pax name and FF# had to match for any credit to happen?
What on Earth happened here?
And more to the point: What shall we do? We clearly know that the miles aren't hers, but at the same time we don't want to stir the hornets nest too much so that KF for whatever reason decide to review the (many more) miles that had been credited correctly for the flights that she did take...
