There are usually very few PEY "E" class seats i.e. the cheap ones. Once they sell out, you are forced to buy at least one leg in "R" for a much higher price. This is why I tend to buy BA PEY for the HKG LHR route - it's cheaper than CX and always non-stop on both legs.
