Hello everyone,

I'm fairly new to this board.

I'm booked on AF374 from CDG to YVR on June 27th in Affaires Class. I was looking at the online seat map for my reservation on the 777-200 and saw a layout of 1-2-1. The layout is lettered A-EF-L. Is this the newest business class cabin that AF began rolling out last year? I believe it is but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm?

Can someone also recommend the best seat for that layout? It seems it goes rows 1-7 and then 10-12. My assumption is that the galley is situated between 7 & 10. So 10-12 will be noiser than 1-7 (with the exception of 7)? I will be traveling solo. Do the seats by the windows offer more privacy than the middle two seats in each row?

Also does AF often switch aircraft configurations at the last moment? Meaning if my layout is indeed the new business class, is there a strong chance that they may switch the configuration say 1-2 days prior to departure and I may end up with the old seats?

Finally, I will be connecting to PDX at YVR with AC. Does AF interline with AC and can check my luggage through to PDX? CDG-YVR-PDX is all under one ticket. Not sure if I will get the YVR-PDX BP at CDG or whether I have to re-check in with AC.
