So, I think the above comments paint a very strong business case for the 777-300ER coming on board:
- RR 752 working more TCON and HI routes
- Refurbed 2 class 763s taking the place of the RR 752s ex EWR and IAD to to European continental destinations
- 787-8s and 787-9s filling the place of current IPTE 763s
- 777-300ERs taking the place of 744 long distance TPAC flying ex ORD
- 744s finally being fully retired as A350s & 787-10s come on line
Outstanding questions for UA:
- Can the A321Neo-LR really work in places like DEN and TATL?
- Do they wait for the Boeing NSA to replace the 752?
- When does UA order the 777X-8?
