Maple, I received this e-mail as well because Trip.com had transmitted my cc number with the wrong expiration date (off my one month), although it is clearly correct in my profile where I had saved it. I talked to a very pleasant person at trip.com yesterday, and we are working on a possible solution to this. Since then I heard from another FTer that the same "one month off" issue happened to him as well so there may be a system glitch. I would suggest you give trip.com a call.
I'm not suggesting you would do otherwise, but I went out of my way to be nice, as this was not the CSRs' fault, but they are sure paying the price. In fact, I started out my conversation by telling him how he has my greatest sympathy with the "BA problem." At any rate, all may not be lost. He indicated that tomorrow is the day they will be fixing any problems.
