I've flown LAX-LIH a bunch of times, always got the CPU to first, only once had to sweat it out until the gate...

Service was always good, sure the IFE was just the overhead TV's, but the wider seats and the ability to catch a nap after a few drinks in first was great

I say go for it I had a great time each flight

Side note: eat dinner before returning from LIH the airport there has extremely limited options...
