I confirm, it is 35 Euros. On the several occasions where I was on my own with two kids, or my wife was alone with two kids, we had to pay except on two occasions.

Personally I find this very customer-unfriendly, but hey, this is AF, they rather complain about Emirates than think about what is good for their customers.
