I'm not even sure this would work, but if the award isn't due to expire and you can't fly it another occasion, the U.S. Airways Barclays Bank US Airways Dividend Miles® World MasterCard® (which will convert to AAdvantage and AA when the frequent flyer programs merge into AAdvantage during the second quarter of this year) does offer $100 on airline expenses (but... requires $30k spend), and earns 50,000 USDM miles (will become AAdvantage miles) for paying the $89 annual fee and making your first purchase. Oh, no forex fee either, and some other bennies.

Even if it doesn't work, it's still a pretty good deal.
