You have a point, but BA freeze their regional customers out of many deals. POUGs? Sorry mate, only if you're starting from London. Availability of connecting reward flights to/from LHR? You might hit lucky but sometimes we only release those after the l-h rewards flights have been released and taken. Connecting flights to LGW to LCY? Not if you're based in MAN, matey, but we can get you to LHR, okay?. Reward flight savers to Europe? Oh yea, used to be the same as from London but we're going to charge you double miles and ££ after April.
It's been said before but British Airways is turning itself in London Airways. They are giving up bit by bit on the regions.
