I'm in a similar position. I made a one-way booking on Qatar as the return wasn't open. My account was debited, CC charged and flights ticketed. The following day I called back and managed to book the return but instead of making an entirely new one-way booking they amending the existing booking. One week on and I still don't have the reconfirmation. Flights are all okay on MMB and I've been able to select seats on the Qatar site. However, the haven't taken the miles and my CC hasn't been debited.

I called last week and was told it would take 3-5 days for the back office to action it. As nothing had happened by today I called again. Had a very painful conversation with someone in India who completely failed to grasp what I was saying. Firstly she told me the flights had passed (...???), then she said the refund hadn't been processed (aaaaggggghhhhhhh!!!) and then finally she said it can take 3-4 weeks as the back office work through the list on the basis of actioning those with closer dates to travel.

She did say the flights were confirmed and I had her repeat this along with asking her to confirm there would be no issue with ticketing.
