Reports from other people show that this issue should have been resolved within 24-48 hours
Mine happened on a WED morning, so it should have been auto resolved by Friday. It isn't much of a 'rush' as it is wanting to get things resolved.
I called again today and the CSR told me that although they received my fax with both receipts showing a charge & a "your load did not go through" she couldn't credit my account because my AFT didn't show a failed load attempt. I asked her ... she was talking about and she said everyone who got a credit due to the system outage had already had the issue fixed and that my only recourse was to go back to target
I'm not going to do that because that is a waste of my time since I know they can't void the transaction, since the manager was trying to do it for like 45 minutes.
So, to recap
1) they have all the paperwork and I've been told various times that nothing will come of it unless I actively call in
2) Today is my 4th biz day and the issue is not resolved
3) target is washing their hands of this
I initiated a dispute with the CC online and if it gets me shut down with the CC, I don't really care because I was planning on closing that CC down later this year anyways.
