Understandably so, though I am unfortunately not surprised. Now we just see the anecdotes about Omniserv, but your experiences are probably far greater than most travellers. Omniserv seem best set up for the mobility disabled, and you can understand there are some logistics and equipment issues there. But if I'm not much mistaken, because the know the setup at T5 relatively well, all you really need is a "moving shoulder" (and perhaps the CCR shortcut?), which maybe BA staff would be better able to do (Special Services?).

In terms of service in Flounge, I guess you need to decide whether you need help with food and drink, or help with travel. For travel assistance there is a good seating area by the Customer Service area, where you could be within yelling distance of the agents (who frankly rarely seem too busy). For food and drink, I would suggest you go leftwards and sit in the refectory area since the BaxterStorey staff hover a lot around there and would find it easy to help.

Finally, if you have an opportunity to have a few hours in Flounge, please let me or one of the other Flounge regulars know, we can probably give you a touchy feely tour of the place to get your mental map lined up, and introduce you to the supervisors and management so they can watch out for you to head off any future problems.
