Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and totally confused by the ANA website; I hope someone can help me out here.

We are looking to fly ORD-NRT-ORD business class in the summer, only ANA option is 1011 and 1012 for us (2), secondary to connection flights.
We would much prefer new IOJ setup and I have tried to inform myself here and the Read This First thread, etc.

All indicators seem to point toward the fact that the flight we are looking at will be a 77W with IOJ (and I understand that there is always the possibility of a sudden plane change, but nevertheless):
-ANA website lists aircraft type as 77W
-flightradar24 lists only 77W aircraft for the past 8 days on this route in both directions, reg numbers match the list of 77W IOJ aircraft
-seatguru shows staggered IOJ setup (I understand not 100% reliable though)
-the info in this thread seems to indicate that the vast majority (if not all) of the 777s have been by now retrofitted, or will be by the summer AND most (but not all) people seem to report they flew IOJ setup.

Now here is the confusing part:
-when going to ANA booking, aircraft is listed as 77W, BUT the seat map shows old non-IOJ config for our date! (btw, if I understand correctly, the pop-up window about the possible plane change might be related to seat config changes in economy...)
-I have picked random dates between now and Dec: aircraft type is ALWAYS listed as 77W, BUT the seat map seems to randomly vary between old non-IOJ and staggered IOJ, depending on the dates (and apparently only for 1011/1012 and not for NH11/12) ???

We were trying to buy the tickets now, but we would hate to pay for the tickets not knowing what we are paying for...
I would greatly appreciate if someone could clarify this (if anyone can)!
