Have a friend flying to MCO tonight, told him about the waiver to get on an earlier flight, he went to the counter in the United Club and was told only Elites can make same day changes.

I told him to go back and say there is a weather waiver for ALL passengers, and it can be viewed on your own company webiste - they refused to look.

This happened a couple hours ago. And there were seats on the earlier MCO.

Ridiculous - how does this stuff happen??? Especially in United Club?
