Since when did any ex-EU itineraries involve the same aircraft travelling, say, TATL and then - after a short stop at T5 to let some pax off - flying on to, say AMS?
Surely the bus analogy should be one ticket covering a trip from, say EDI to LON, where you have to get off the first bus at MAN, wait a minimum of 60 mins

, then get on a second bus to LON.
