I've done it many times both as a one way or round trip. It prices as a NA-ASIA or reverse trip at 70K for J. I don't think you are allowed stopovers on a one way. You can travel as I had done before HKG-BKK-FRA-JFK all for 70 or 80K depending on the class of travel and if that kind of 3 stop 30 hour trip tickles your fancy.
