THIS IS INCORRECT INFORMATION.

Although there will be a plane change, you WILL depart from adjoining gates at the INTERNATIONAL terminal. It will be treated like transfer. You will stay airside. You may or may not have to go through the second level "gate security check" but certainly will NOT have to go through customs. That you will do at AMD. BTW IMHO, for your route, AI seems to be the best option. (Avoiding connecting in US when not necessary is a smart move).
