Agree - I also like WP over SG - although it could be better, you also get 100% points bonus, top tier status at Hilton or Intercontinental for a year, first class lounge access in LAX and Abu Dhabi if your travels take you that way.

Some other random benefits of Velocity over Airpoints: there seem to be more promotions throughout the year (double points / status credits etc.), you get domestic lounges can also be used on arrivals, your guests in domestic lounges don't need to be traveling..
