Probably the best personnel to have on board if you have an emergency would be EMTs who are used to working with limited equipment and supplies but practice doing it every day and who are adept at putting in IVs and intubating patients (though I don't recall seeing intubation equipment on board).
Ohh, you mean that the CPR training provided to FAs and the CPR training provided to hospital staff differs? Maybe you missed that that was my point.

My other point was that none of that mattered - the CPR isn't the difficult part. Nor is the AED, which are designed to be used by anyone and telling you what to do.
