Neither site will show any award availability via LAX, but it will gladly sell me a revenue ticket (HNL-LAX-MRY $543, or LAX-MRY $191). HNL-LAX has X/XN availability, whereas LAX-MRY is X0 - but revenue seats available down to the S bucket.

UA.com still lists "Unrestricted access to United Standard Awards on United- and United Express-operated flights" as a Premier benefit. Does "unrestricted" mean "unrestricted, with exceptions", or has the rule changed, or glitch?
You are aware X/XN is saver, not standard, award correct?
