I am sending this message from Sofitel Lisbon... Because IC is currently close without notice (no email, no phone call ... And an automatic welcome email sent some days ago!).

When I arrived at the hotel, I was "welcomed" by workers (one spitting on the ground, lovely) in a cloud of dust.

I was then escorted to the rear staff entry... To be told that the hotel is closed for renovation.

Not exactly what a Royal Ambassador should expect from any IC.
