A Westjet Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration C-FIWS performing flight WS-1166 from Toronto,ON (Canada) to Orlando,FL (USA), was enroute at FL380 about 230nm north of Myrtle Beach,SC (USA) when the crew received indication that the automatic cabin pressurization had failed. The crew worked the related checklists and switched the cabin pressure to manual control, but noticed that the cabin altitude was climbing. The crew donned their oxygen masks, descended the aircraft to 10,000 feet and diverted to Myrtle Beach for a safe landing.
On Feb 27th 2015 Canada's TSB reported that a water line above the outflow valve was leaking causing the valve to freeze and malfunction in both automatic and manual mode.
