I think the key is that I am one of those people that really enjoys flying. I remember as a kid going out to the airport and watching the planes taking off and landing. For some reason or another my own kids feel the same way. They are the only ones I know that can even comprehend a milage run. Flying to us is still fun. I wish everyone could still feel the wonder.
PS I have my private ticket and own a Piper, but the big ones still give me a thrill.</font>
I am in a very similar situation. I have my CFI ticket and love aviation. I still go out to PHX several times a week and watch planes. My greatest thrill is seeing my son have that same love for flying. Congrats on perpetuating the bug in your kids.
