Wow!!! Congratulations to those who have never had a bag lost, stolen or damaged!!! You are like the person who buys their first lottery ticket, wins, and then can't understand what the fuss is all about!!!

The rest of us, though, live in a different world---a world where the airlines themselves admit they lose 10,000 bags a day. Unfortunately, I live in that second world and have seen my wife lose bags three times, and have other bags severely damaged. That is why I always carry on only.
